Training Programs

• Sales
  The Sales Certification Program has been developed in our on-going effort to certify high potential sales employees. It is critical to the development of an effective sales force and a benchmark for future management. For the most part, it is self-administered and is facilitated by the Branch Sales Manager through on-the-job training.
• Servicing
  A comprehensive Certification Program has been developed for our Servicing area in order to ensure the delivery of high quality service to our customers. The Collection, Customer Relations, Growth and Quality units all have well-structured employee certification programs which include formal classroom teaching and self-administered training programs facilitated by the unit manager.
• Support
  After a comprehensive analysis of employees' skills, goals and training needs, Managers will register their employees to the courses or workshops that best suit their employee's developmental needs. These courses and workshops may be delivered by in-house trainers or consultants.
  

Tuition Reimbursement
The tuition reimbursement policy was instituted to assist the growth and development of employees, to increase individual contributions to the efficiency and productivity of the company and to enhance individual promotional opportunities. HSBC will reimburse all eligible full-time employees for business related degrees, diplomas and courses at the graduate, undergraduate and professional designation level in compliance with the guidelines and procedures of this policy.
